Langford team members and participants spent the weekend together (while physically apart) to take part in RunRona. The event was organised by Closing the Gap to raise funds for health promotion in Aboriginal communities.
To join the fun run, participants picked either 5, 10, 21.1, or 42.2 km to walk or run in any location of their choosing and printed off ‘race bibs’ to wear on the day.
Langford team members and participants gave a fantastic effort over the two-day event, making the most of this opportunity to be proactive with their physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing during uncertain times.
Everyone who took part was awarded the RunRona medal – a memento that reminds us to be conscious of our health, and that we can be physically distant but still socially connected!
